MGE Summer Series 2026: Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club
Come and join us at Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club on Friday 26th June 2026, for our MGE Summer Series event.
With over £10,000 worth of prizes up for grabs, including a 3 night stay in Marbella and a 5 night stay in the Algarve, you don’t want to miss our Charity Golf Summer Series Events.
All profits of the event are donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust charity.
What’s the MGE Summer Series?
The MGE Summer Series is a multi-event league series. The league champions after all events will win a stay at a luxury 5 bed villa in Vilamoura in Algarve, Portugal, for 5 nights.
League Rules:
- Teams best three scores from the four events will be used for league placings.
- In the event of a tie we will use the team’s 4th score.
- Teams can change players
- All team players must hold a verified handicap certificate for scorers to count.

Team Entry Costs
For this event, a team of 4 entry costs £320 for Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club Members and £420 for non-members. You can book your tickets on this page by clicking on the register button. For teams mixed with members and non-members, the total cost for the team ticket will be prorated.
Prizes Available
With over £10,000 worth of prizes available, it’s a day you don’t want to miss.
Team Prizes:
- Winning team win a 3 night stay in Marbella villa
- Running up team each player will receive £50 golf voucher & trophy
Individual Prizes:
Best individual stableford scores available for Category 1 (0-12 handicap) and Category 2 (13-21 handicap)
For each category:
- Winner wins a £100 voucher
- Runner up wins £50 golf voucher
Prizes & Trophies for
- Closest to the pin
- Longest drive
- Most accurate drive
- Hole in one wins a week stay in Marbella villa
- Event will also have a fund raising Putting competition

What You’ll Get
All players will receive a bacon roll, a coffee and a 2 course meal.
Players will receive an MGE Gift sleeve of Titleist golf balls.
Competition Rules
- Stableford Format – Yellow Tees.
- Best 2 of 4 scores on each hole except hole 17 & 18 where ALL scored are to count.
- Maximum handicap 21. 3/4 Stroke allowance.
- To win a prize or trophy, a CDH number must be presented.
- If no CDH number is presented, playing handicap will be 0.
